Do you ever find there’s too much static in the background…
And that static noise drowns out some of your other-than-conscious perceptions…
So it’s more difficult to get a read on some of the less obvious (but very important) parts of your experience.
You can end up missing lots of things, especially in the intuitive space.
Pay close attention to the video below.
I’m going into some new territory and would appreciate your comments when you’re done.
Thoughts? Experiences? Make sense? Valuable? Want More?
Thank you Paul!
This is very timely for me as I have been in the process where I have been putting my attention and shifting that to where I now want to put my attention.
Great series! And looking forward to the next one.
Thanks again,
Joseph
You’re welcome Joseph. It makes a HUGE difference when you pay attention to “the right things.” When you’re deliberate.
Paul, thanks for that powerful reminder. Life is simpler, powerful and profound when I practice being present and paying attention. I have several projects that are important and they each deserve my full attention to make the impact that is possible for them. I commit to being mindful of what you point to. Very appreciated.
Tim – I think this is especially important in your case. Each of those important things is important in its own turn; in its own time.
Hi Paul
I’ve read two great books, Search Inside Yourself and The Mircile of Mindfullness, – but your video really brought home to me the gift of paying attention to the present moment. It also resonated with some other learnings – the importance of striving to be in touch with reality and the value of spending good chunks of time on your most important projects.
Thank you – this is so helpful and valuable, I’m going to bookmark this video and watch for 30 days (another valuable lesson i learned from you a few years ago!)
It is amazing all the garbage our brains continuously process. I learned that I can just say; “I do not need to be thinking about that” and then I can focus on the current project or thought experiment. I do Physics and Engineering design work.
We can actually manage the thoughts in our conscious mind and fill it with productive thoughts instead of whatever our brain, our senses and emotions are reacting to. While I have not learned to clear my brain as in meditation, filling it with where I want to go and what I need to be doing is very productive.
These days I am quickly moving through and completing numerous and varied steps in a huge project. When I get ahead of my to do list, non productive drama tends to creep into my mind and when I become conscious of it, I ask myself “what is my next step?”. This great guy named Paul Lemberg taught me that in one of his blogs. …. Oh wait, You are Paul Lemberg … So many many thanks for all the great things you taught me in your blogs that have greatly improved my life.
Hi Paul, you are on the mark. I have been researching these matters for 37 years. Some of my findings are soon to be published in my new book, “BUST LOOSE”. In particular, resonance linked to desire, passionate desire for a solution, an insight, a resource, an answer to a question, any or any combination of these. If you choose to send me your regular U.S. mail address, I will send you a complimentary copy of the book as soon as I can. All the best, Burt Dubin
